糖業鐵道以製糖廠為中心，向外延伸，同時也接連到城鎮，構成一獨立的運輸，然而至糖鐵關閉廢線後，原有的糖鐵路徑形成的不同的風貌。總爺糖鐵從以前的鐵路線到今日沿線上的轉變。這些轉變包括留存的鐵道風化的遺跡、步道、人們種植的芒果樹、柚子樹、龍眼以及許多不知名的野草及石頭等。這些依照其地理位置及自身的獨特歷史脈格及功能的轉變，是互動的，動態的過程。踏查以總爺糖廠周邊為主要區域，沿著麻豆糖鐵的路徑進行觀察與採集，而後採集到的物件都能組合轉化在未來藝術祭的作品上。
The sugar railway is centered on the sugar factory and extends to connect other urban areas , forming an independent transportation system . However , since the discharge of sugar railway , the original sugar railway route has built up various characteristics . The Tsung - Yeh sugar railway route has transformed overtime . These changes include the remaining sites , trails , mango trees , as well as pomelo , longan trees and other unknown weeds and stones . The transformation base on the geographic location , unique historical context and changes of function is an interactive , and dynamic process . The scrutiny will center on the Tsung - Yeh Sugar Factory , which the participants make observations and scrutiny along the route of Madou sugar railway , and transform the collected objects into artistic works for future art festivals .
